The church "House of God — the Living Stone" is a Russian speaking non-denominational evangelical church with the teaching based on God's Word of the Old and New Testaments.
The basic teachings and views are documented in the Statement of Faith.
Our church was incorporated in 2004 in Hartford, CT as part of the Beth Shalom Ministry based in Brooklyn, NY. We believe that the state of Connecticut and its Russian-speaking residents have need in the Living God; not just in empty and formal religion, but in the living Word of God that delivers from addictions, teaches righteous ways of life, corrects our shortcomings and declares human dignity based on love to God and neighbor.

The core values listed below are the building blocks of the Beth Shalom Ministry and our church "House of God — the Living Stone":
Because Jesus is "King of kings and Lord of lords" we believe that whole-hearted submission to God's will and his word is the starting point of the Christian faith and the foundation of all spiritual growth.
Because God's heart is to reach the lost, we seek to build churches primarily through evangelism not transfer, through birth not adoption.
Because we are called to make disciples, our primary focus is on ministering to people not conducting meetings, administrating programs or building buildings.
Because we are called to raise up spiritual leaders, we prioritize leadership training and deliberately create opportunities for young potential leaders to develop their gifts.
Because the family is the foundation and validation of all ministry, we refuse to sacrifice our marriages and our children on the altars of temporal success. And, because we believe God has called us to be a spiritual family, we reject the idea of disposable relationships and choose to walk in lifelong covenant, love, respect and unity.
